AS Deadlines

1) Tuesday 28th Jan (extended deadline from the original deadline of the 23rd Jan) – The final production is uploaded onto YouTube and put onto your blog. If you had trouble last time please see the technicians on the Monday before.

2) Friday 31st Jan – The PowerPoint presentations (all seven), including images and videos where necessary, are uploaded onto your blog. Please upload the PowerPoint into www.scribd.com and embed this into your blog.

In addition to the above, all blog posts are complete. Please check the tracking sheet to ensure you have completed all your blog posts. This should be done for homework, as you will not have lesson time for this.

3) Monday 3rd Feb – Exam revision starts.

3) Friday 7th Feb – The filmed videos for each seven questions are uploaded onto your blog. These videos should be creative and interesting. This should be done for homework, as you will not have lesson time for this.

Failure to meet the deadlines will unfortunately result in overtime until they are complete..

AS Evaluation

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

How does your media product represent particular social groups?

What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

Who would be the audience for your media product?

How did you attract/address your audience?

•What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

Where candidates have worked in a group, the evidence for assessment may be presented collectively but centres will still assess candidates on an individual basis for their contribution to aspects of the work, from planning, research and production to evaluation.
